2007 (ish) Toys

The Toys… all lined up.
Ji-Ji, Thunder-bike, Kix, and Thumper-quad; all lined up in front of the house.

Rear view…
Here they are from the back.

Thumper
What else would I name a 400cc four-stroke ATV??? 2005 KFX400

Thunder-Bike
2002 ZX-9r. Lots of custom goodies. This one is the one voted “most likely to kill Tony”. 0-60 in 3 seconds; Standing quarter in under 10. Tops out somewhere around 190. Shut up and hang on.

Ji-Ji
Susan’s newest toy; Kawi EX250. Her way to test the sportbike waters… Cute, ain’t she?

Thumper again, in profile.
The quad from the right side. From this angle you can see the only mod I’ve made; the nerf bars & webbing. Keeps me from getting my tootsies sucked under those big ol’ rear tires. UPDATE: additional mods now include a Precision Steering Damper to minimize the pounding my arms take when blasting over roots & rocks, and a Pro-Armor lanyard kill switch, so when I get pitched off, the quad won’t continue happily on its way without me. I have updated pix, but can’t upload them from work (fascist IT bastards!).

Thumper, the sequel…
Same quad; different viewpoint. Not as cutting-edge as the4 new crop of 450’s but still plenty fiesty on the trails.

Thumper up close.
This one has thrown me more than all the others combined. And we won’t even discuss those pesky trees that keep jumping out in front of me…

Thunder bike from the back…
Very nice, don’tcha think?

Side view of the ZX-9r
Behold the dragon-slayer! Yep; this bike has multiple runs down the Dragon, US129. If you don’t know that that means, google it.

KX250
If only this power could be used for GOOD!

Endangered?
Sadly, Kawasaki (in their infinite wisdom and under extreme pressure from the greenie eco terrorists) has discontinued this little beast – no more 250cc two strokes – first time in decades. How sad.

Double lucky.
The number, I mean. 7+7=14. Get it?

Susan’s latest…
She’s been wanting to pick up on e of these for some time now; I talked her out of it a few months ago, but was NOT going to make that mistake again. So she got this little EX250 the same time we got the KX.

ATV Graphic
This is on the back of the Toyhauler, on the left side. There’s a matching yellow one on the right for Susan’s.

Line-up
The KX250, TTR125, Ltz250, and KFX400, all lined up.

Loaded for fun
Two bikes, check. Two ATV’s; check. Toyhauler loaded for Ocala trip…

Now THAT’s a garage!
Almost all of the toys in the garage; rare occurrance, but they needed maintenance.

Ready to ride…
Tony on the KX, all geared up. This photo shows the new graphics and number.

Back of the toyhauler
These are the graphics (so far) on the back of the toyhauler.

Tied down
The kX250 in its current graphics, strapped into the Silverado for a quick riding trip.

Two wheels in the dirt.
The TTR125 and the KX250, ready to ride.

Supporting cast…
Somehow, all these bikes & quads have to be maintained…here’s the tool chest that makes it possible.
