Monday… again and again and again

As promised, I built the golf-bag rack and loaded it up with my canvas chairs and gazebos. Wheels around, too. Handy. The kayak rack is next.
I went to the smog check for the truck – they did it with the camper on, which was nice and saved me some time. I dropped it there, and that’s right across the street from one of our favorite walking parks, so I took the pups with and we walked over and wandered around. Went in the dog park part. Let them splash in the pond a bit. Many turtles and big fishes – a lot more big fishes than I’ve seen there before. Maybe they are just less shy because of less people around. I didn’t take any pictures, sorry.
Then I came home and filed for and paid my registration renewal. So the new sticker should get here in time (expires on May 18.)
The other errands were to pick up my prescription and go to the bank. I got a notice that my prescription is on hold / unavailable. I have a lot of trouble getting that one, may ask the doc for something else. Anyway, meanwhile, so I held off going to the bank, too, since the bank and the pharmacy are near each other.
I wrote my villanelle for class. Now we only have to re-workshop two of our poems and the semester is gone. I really don’t enjoy trying to write poetry. I get that it’s “good for me,” I just don’t like it.
Hopefully I’ll get notice that my prescription is in within a few days and then I’ll run the other two errands.
Hot tub is empty and pretty much dry. Tomorrow I will swab out the bottom. Waiting for my water-softener filter to arrive before I refill. I have the old one so if it doesn’t get here quick I can just go ahead, but I think the old one is “used up,” so I’m hoping to use the new one.
All I ever talk about is my house chores. And poetry. Strangely content, though. I mean, I’ll be happier when I can stop writing poetry.
