Checks map: Yep, still in Las Vegas
I honestly don’t think I’ve ever been through anything as grueling as this mortgage. Rhiannon will be homeless on Friday if we don’t close and it’s not looking like we’ll make it. There’s still a chance but it slips away every hour now, because he have to have the clear three days ahead. That means by close of business today. My frustration level is at 9.99. And I literally spend all day every day jumping to get something else that’s nearly impossible. I can’t wait to find out what else I can do when all those hours come back to my day.
It doesn’t help that we’re on the poetry section in my creative writing class. Ugh. I mean, sure, there’s some good poetry out in the world. None of it written by me.
My garden continues to give me joy. And the pond is more fun, now that I can see the fish and when the filters need cleaning, it’s quite easy to do. Ten minutes instead of two hours. Most all of my projects around here are all caught up. A few more things I’m working on. Seems like you can always find something more.
The areas of the grass that I aerated, seeded, top-dressed and fertilized are starting to come in. Look at my food growing! I think I better eat the cauliflower soon. And the lettuce is on it’s way to a greek salad tomorrow – I just needed a couple of things, but now I have it all.
I’m going to go run. Yes, it’s late.
