We arrived up at the Tangelo place late on Friday night, 2/28. Next morning, we got the trailer & surrounding area set up for the arrival of the rest of the family. Although we’d invited a number of friends as well, none of them could make it, for various reasons. So it would be a family gathering instead… This photo is the first thing I did after thre hours of setting up & preparation. Nothing beats a cold beer… ahhhh.
Bean bags
Good thing we picked up these bean bags last year, else Joe & Alyson wouldn’t have had anyplace to sit! (just kidding; we’d have figured something out…).
Beer Circle
Here’s most of the crowd, circled up & enjoying a beer… pay no attention to the bottle in the young ‘uns hands…she was just holding it for someone…that’s my story & I’m sticking to it.
Bob and Lilli
Part of the reason (as if we needed a special occasion) for this gathering was Susan’s dad’s birthday… So here he is, with his wife, Lilli… Looks like he had a good time too.

All set up, awaiting our guests… you can see Susan in the background… It was great when we were finally done working & could start to concentrate on relaxing.
crash kids
Alex & Alyson… after a trail ride. You can tell that from the dirty faces. What you can’t tell is that each of them had a “vehicular incident”. Alex ran the TTL trail bike into a HUGE coral rock (denting the front rim & flying through the air). Alyson got a little carried away on the 4X4 ATV and it rolled over… luckily, she jumped clear. I helped her right it & she carried on like nothing happened. Good for her!
Joe
Looks like Joe enjoyed the ride as well… he didn’t have any problems though…
ramp room
Here’s a nice pic of the toyhauler ramp room. This is the first time we actually used it; Adrienne & Joe slept in there. It adds an entire room onto the trailer, so it’s pretty nice, as long as the weather’s not too hot (and it wasn’t – all those who bowed out missed one of the best weekends, weather-wise, that we’ve had up there.

Susan took a moment to express her opinion on all the pictures I was taking… for the sake of decency, the appropriate censorship has been applied…(I’m shocked; SHOCKED, do you hear…)?
the toys
Here they are, all lined up, nice & pretty. Although everyone tried most of them, no one but me was crazy enough to ride the 250 MX bike… I rode it all over the place, doing 3rd gear wheelies, power slides, and in general, having a blast. Wheeeeee!

Everyone loves the round Italian sausage. At first no one wants to try it; then once they do, it goes FAST. I was lucky enough to get a taste before it was all gone. Here, Susan has a mouthful of the stuff. Yum.
